I Am Cat

I Am Cat is a first-person game in which you become a cat, free to roam across various settings. This version is the Android adaptation of the VR game of the same name for PC, developed by the same company. As a sandbox genre, I Am Cat features settings like a house and a garden, where you can interact with all kinds of objects, hunt, sleep, engage with other animals, and uncover hidden secrets in the city. You have complete freedom to cause chaos or take your time completing missions.

Explore a world full of detail

In I Am Cat, you can interact with nearly everything around you. The first playable level is the house level, where you can explore the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and more. The house is also home to your owner, an elderly woman who sleeps most of her time. You can annoy her and make her chase you, frying pan in hand, but luckily, you can jump onto cabinets and other furniture to escape.

Experience life as a real cat

I Am Cat features simple controls. A joystick lets you move around, and you can adjust the camera by dragging your finger across the screen. Four action buttons let you jump, grab, throw, or scratch. When you're near an object you can pick up, an icon will appear, letting you know it's interactable. However, if you want to swipe at something to knock it or break it, no prompt appears—you have total freedom to create havoc.

Complete missions

Beyond free exploration, I Am Cat offers a series of objectives and missions to complete. Some are simple, like reaching the house's second floor, while others require real feline skills to pull off successfully without getting caught.

I Am Cat brings a fresh take to the sandbox genre. Playing as a cat is incredibly fun, and with so many things to do, I Am Cat becomes even more entertaining. The biggest drawback—perhaps the only one—is the number of ads I Am Cat has. Your gameplay gets interrupted every one or two minutes. Aside from that, downloading the free APK of I Am Cat is a great choice, especially since the PC version is paid.
